Conflict Resolution & Bully Prevention Education

Empowering teachers, parents, and young people to resolve conflict nonviolently to create a more peaceful and understanding world.

Our education system has a serious gap. We need to learn how to nonviolently resolve conflict.

Helping our youth begins by educating our teachers and parents.

Instances of bullying, prejudice, and violence are growing — what can we do?

For almost forty years, the Atrium Society has worked with teachers, students, and organizations around the world, teaching bullying, prejudice, and peace education. We also teach Martial Arts for Peace — non-violent methods to protect yourself.

Our curricula, books, and educational resources are used worldwide to make sustainable change and help communities. We believe that locals are best able to address the needs of their community and we support local leaders to make lasting change.

Bullying & Nonviolent Conflict Resolution

According to UNESCO, 33% of young teens are bullied worldwide with an even higher number attributed to cyber bullying. Socioeconomic and immigrant status disproportionally affect those being bullied (youth and adults).

Without the tools to manage it, bullying can lead to violence at school and home, mental health problems, life-long issues, and even death.

Psychological Conditioning

Psychological conditioning affects all of us, often unknowingly. With proper education, we can learn to truly see our conditioned thoughts, change them, and be free.

Help young people (and yourself) develop questioning minds and be free of psychological conditioning.

Preventing Prejudice

We learn prejudice from an early age, but we’re often not aware it’s happened. Prejudice takes many forms, including bullying, racism, stereotyping, discrimination, and other social injustices.

We must learn to understand and take responsibility for our prejudice in a safe environment. When we’re aware of it, we can change it.

We’re training teachers worldwide so youth can live more peaceful lives.

Conflict Education in South-East Asia & Nepal

Imagine a world where children are denied the right to read and learn. A world where they are left vulnerable to misinformation and manipulation. This is the reality for more than half of the children aged 5-16 in rural Himalayan villages.

The Atrium Society is working with Rajib Timalsina who teaches and travels extensively throughout Asia and abroad, bringing the Atrium Society’s BioCognetic peace education to the most vulnerable and in-need.
